Growing up on a farm in Dane County, Kim learned the value of hard work early on. She pursued a career in nursing, spending nearly 20 years in healthcare—a field that honed her ability to connect with people, manage details, and stay calm under pressure. In 2021, she joined the Sims team to work alongside her husband, Aaron. What started as a part-time role quickly became a full-time passion, as they found they made a great team both at home and in business.
Kim plays a key role in the company’s operations, bringing her sharp organizational skills, problem-solving mindset, and genuine care for people to every aspect of the business. Whether she’s ensuring smooth project workflows, refining processes, or supporting the team, her dedication helps Sims continue to deliver the high-quality service and integrity it’s known for.
Outside of work, Kim loves traveling, hiking, staying active in her church, and spending time with family and friends. And when she’s not busy helping clients transform their homes, she’s likely dreaming up her own next home project!
