Vicki Zagrodnik
Designer
Design has always come naturally to me. Even as a kid, I loved coloring, organizing, and rearranging spaces—it was my way of making things feel “just right.” That love evolved into a lifelong career, and I’ve now been in the design industry for over 32 years.
For most of my career, I focused on cabinet design for kitchens and baths, working in both remodeling and new construction. The last couple of years have expanded into full-scale remodeling, and I’ve loved bringing that broader vision to life for my clients.
What really fuels me is space planning—finding ways to make a room more functional while still feeling beautiful and intentional. I enjoy the process of pairing materials, colors, and layouts in a way that fits each client’s unique lifestyle. My style leans cozy, clean, and functional, with influences from Scandinavian and modern farmhouse design. But at the end of the day, it’s not about my style—it’s about yours.
When we begin a project together, I focus on understanding your goals, your must-haves, and even the things you don’t like. I love seeing your inspiration photos and learning what you’re consistently drawn to. That insight helps me design a space that feels like a natural extension of you and how you live.
I also believe function doesn’t have to mean “clinical.” Even features like grab bars can be stylish and integrated in a way that makes sense for your home. Whether it’s overcoming a tight budget or reimagining a small space like a bathroom, I bring creativity and practicality to every challenge.
I always encourage clients to come into a remodel with a general sense of their design style, a realistic budget, and a clear idea of their goals. From there, I’ll guide you every step of the way— narrowing down selections to avoid overwhelm, creating visual renderings, and even providing a portfolio of your materials so you have something tangible to reference.
Clear communication and trust are key. I’ll be by your side through the entire process—making sure you feel confident, informed, and excited about what we’re building together.
Some of my favorite design elements? I love working with natural materials—wood, stone, tile, plants—and pulling in green hues, light wood tones, and the occasional moody black accent to tie everything together. A well-chosen backsplash is one of my favorite ways to make a space feel finished and cohesive.
